Any Pro*COBOL IDE?

Is there any free Pro*COBOL IDE for Windows?

Actually, I only need an editor which highlights Pro*COBOL sintax, as all the compiling task are performed in a OpenVMS environment.

I actually use ConTEXT with the COBOL85 highlighter, but I was hoping for something more accurate.

My Game Development Evolution - Pickin' Sticks to an RPG
Just kind of an infoey video. I always tell people to start out small and build up from there. As an example, here's sort of a timeline of games I've made over the past 9ish years. Oh, and incase you're wondering what I use: * Before age 12 - PowerBasic, mainly made Mad Libs * Ages 12 through 14 - Visual Basic, made crappy VB adventure games * 14 - Began learning C++ * 16 - Began learning Allegro, so all games used this for a while. * 19 - Began learning some OpenGL and SDL, but as of right now haven't really released anything made with SDL (Except Shattered Wrath), and haven't completed anything with OpenGL. Tools: C++ w/ Code::Blocks IDE Allegro, SDL, OpenGL, Lua Sprite graphics: Paint Shop Pro 6 Other drawn stuff: GIMP Sounds: Audacity, SFXR, my Yamaha MM8 Keyboard

PS3 mod (6 USB ports: 4 front & 2 rear)
My PS3 now boasts six (6) fully functional USB ports, the original four in front, and two (2) in the rear. We used the facilities of SkyFiber Inc. R&D lab for our work location as this is a seriously complex (and frightening) mod. www.SkyFiber.com Since their are no schematics or plans anywhere on the net to do this, we had a-lot of head scratching and hurdles to deal with, but in the end it worked out very well as you can see. Basically what we've done is cut the data path from the internal USB controller chip on the PS3 to the #4 USB port (the one closest to the center). We then wired the upstream connection on the "external" hub to the PS3's data output on those traces, thus tricking the PS3 into thinking there's a regular four port hub plugged into the front. After that, we wired a downstream cable from the "external" hub back to the PS3's front USB port. To activate the two rear USB ports we simply ran 2 pairs of data lines from the "external" hub. All power to and from the "external" hub was handled with and old IDE HDD ribbon cable trimmed down to three wires power, negative, and ground. The results: 1. It works with no limitations 2. Anything can be plugged into the front and rear USB ports. This includes charging your Sixaxis controller, more hubs, Playstation Eye, external HDD, etc. 4. This setup is a true USB hub and I absolutely love it! I must give a BIG thank-you to jasonuscg (youtube.com for all the promotion work on the previous video, thanks man! I am ...

Build a PC Computer - How to choose a hard drive - All New for 2009 - homepcbuilder.com
Buy the complete series of videos showing how to build a pc computer at www.homepcbuilder.com Overview In lesson 1 we'll cover SATA, IDE, external and SSD hard drives, what features and specs to look for when shopping, and how much you can expect to pay when building your own computer. The hard drive is where all information is stored on your computer. Be it the Windows operating system, programs you install, or files you download and create on the computer. Everything is stored on the hard drive. When selecting a hard drive to install into your computer there are two basic features you need to consider. They are the capacity and the speed of the drive. Capacity Capacity is how much data a hard drive can store. Capacity is measured in Giga Bytes and Tera Bytes. 1 GB is made up of 1000 Mega Bytes. 1 TB is made up of 1000 GB. To give you an example of how much you can fit into 1 GB of hard drive space, take a MP3 audio file. The average MP3 audio file takes up 5 MB. Divide 1000 by 5 and you get 200. So 1 GB of hard drive space can store 200 MP3 music files. A 1 TB hard drive, which is 1000 GB can store 200000 MP3 music files. The size of the drive you choose is up to you. Generally you should buy the biggest drive you can afford. We recommend at least a 750 GB drive. Speed: The speed of the hard drive is determined by the revolution speed of the disk inside the hard drive and the amount of memory cache included in the drive. The rotation speed is measured in RPMs or ...

Ok so I really hated that metal song I had as the music before. Being that I can't put my original mix up, you can enjoy some classical piano :-p I'm getting alot of questions so let me answer it here. This isn't windows XP,vista,7 or mac. Its linux. For windows game programming check out my other videos. I used the KDE environment's kwrite editor (no IDE) and the free gcc compiler that comes with linux. I ran it from the commandline which is how i work when I make small projects. Follow me through the process of creating and programming a simple video game in a short period of time. I had no plan before hitting record. This is what i came up with. Moosader Games - Rawr Rinth v0.4
Download Game and Source at www.moosader.com !! Windows, Mac, and Linux versions available! This is what I have done for my Software Design with Game Programming class at school. It's made with C++ and Allegro at the moment, but I plan on switching libraries now that I have it working pretty well. (Was having trouble debugging collision o_O) Anyways. The map isn't much of a Labyrinth at the moment, and this is because I got lazy and used the graphics I did for Elysian Shadows instead of making new graphics. Future iterations will, in fact, be in some sort of labyrinth It's sort of meant to be a dungeon crawl. Your dino levels up as you fight enemies, which each have their own Strength and HP rating. Collect food, eggs, and gold, though at the moment they aren't that useful. Programming, graphics, music by me. Programmed in C++ with the Allegro game programming library, in the Code::Blocks IDE. In-game graphics done in Paint Shop Pro 6, title screen graphics done in Flash 4.0. Music written in Dr. Petter's Musagi (no relation to MusuGo), but I HAVE A NEW KEYBOARD NOW SO I will be writing music with that now. Sound effects generated with Dr. Petter's SFXR. Comments and constructive critiquing always welcome!

Mac OS X Leopard on a PC!
Yes, it's possible, and now it's easier than ever. Using a retail Leopard DVD, I installed Mac OS X on my PC hardware (self-built computer). This is NOT a Mac machine, it's a normal PC machine that used to run Vista, but now it runs Mac OS X 10.5.6 (latest updates through Software Update). Check out just how stable it is! Installed Leopard via the BOOT-132 boot loader method (disc swapping method). NO distributions were used, just a retail Leopard DVD. See my tutorial videos: www.youtube.com Check out this link: menoob.com This will NOT work with just any hardware. You need Mac compatible hardware. For a list, check here: wiki.osx86project.org If you have problems, you can search for answers and ask questions here: www.insanelymac.com Here's how I did it: 1) Download a boot-132 CD. You may need one particular to your hardware, especially if you have a JMicron IDE controller like me. Search for boot-132 and download and try them out. Trial and error here, guys. 2) If the above CD works right, you will run through the installation like normal with a RETAIL DVD. I can't stress that enough, RETAIL DVD. Then, it boots into OS X. 3) Now, you will use the OSX86Tools and EFIStudio programs to setup your booting procedure and to finish installing hardware like the 3D card you have. 4) You will need to hunt down specific stuff for certain hardware. For my ATI Radeon 3870, I had to find a special installation program that installed the specific drivers/kexts. ***IMPORTANT*** Make ...
